The Ropka-Ihaste meadow

The Ropka-Ihaste meadow is a bird sanctuary of international importance. More than 90 species of nesting birds have been registered here, thus being the biggest number in European towns. The Ropka-Ihaste meadow is also interesting because of its meadow and swamp plant life. Among other rare plants we can find the Siberian common iris.
